The Scumfrog
Mega Scum
Effin Records
Chunky, chunky, chunky! The Scumfrog once again puts out a fun, sexy, banging mix that brings the dance floor alive. Funky techno starts out a set that you can’t walk away from. The thick beat goes through house, trance, electro and even rock ‘n’ roll. He pulls in a trendy mash-up. He keeps his bass-y sound though out the disc while keeping you guessing what is going to happen next. And the surprises keep coming. You’re going to get vocals and melodies but instead of begging to cross over the vocals add fun and sometimes a good laugh. Even the Euro-hits avoid the cheesy label with Scum’s master handling. This whole thing is a medium dance tempo. It’s the feel and not the speed that keeps you going. Unlike Simmer, which contained all his originals, this shows what Scumfrog is like on the dance floor. Fun, fun, fun!
