Don't listen and drive.

Flunk For Sleepyheads Only Guidance Recordings Release date: February 4, 2003
The title of Flunk’s debut album, For Sleepyheads Only, encompasses the album’s essence. All 12 tracks evoke the same hypnotic feel, through a perfect blend of instrumentation and electronica––a hybrid between trip-hop and pop. Vocalist Anji sounds like a cross of Bjork and Mazzy Star’s Hope Sandoval. Meanwhile the music drifts into that part of the brain which simply makes you relax. This album is perfect for a lazy summer day, a hammock, and a cold beer. On the other hand, I can envision the sounds playing in coffee shops while pages of Voltaire are read and poetry is written. The music is intelligent and inspiring, however very mellow, something to chill to, definitely not something to drive to.
